En la sede central del Colegio de Escribanos bonaerense, el jueves 19 de octubre, se realizó la “Jornada Interdisciplinaria sobre personas adultas mayores”, organizada juntamente con el Ministerio Público de la Provincia de Buenos Aires.
La convocatoria estuvo dirigida a integrantes del Ministerio Público y a escribanos bonaerenses. Comenzó a las 9 con el acto de apertura a cargo del procurador General de la Suprema Corte de Justicia Bonaerense, Dr. Julio Conte-Grand; y del Presidente del Colegio de Escribanos de la Provincia de Buenos Aires, Not. Diego Molina.
Por su parte, el Dr. Conte-Grand dio la bienvenida a los asistentes que se encontraban participando de manera presencial y a través del streaming, y destacó la importancia del vínculo entre ambas instituciones materializado a través del convenio marco firmado hace un tiempo; y de los convenios particulares próximos a suscribirse, sobre aspectos singulares que tienen relación con cuestiones neurálgicas para la función notarial y para la función propia del Ministerio Público, de acuerdo a lo que establece la Constitución Nacional y las leyes.
En tanto que el Presidente del Colegio, Diego Molina, expresó su profundo agradecimiento por la tarea mancomunada que la institución viene desarrollando con el Ministerio Público, y destacó el papel vital en la garantía de la seguridad jurídica y en la protección de los derechos de las personas mayores que lleva adelante el Departamento de Registros Especiales del Colegio, donde funcionan el Registro de Testamentos y el Registro de Actos de Autoprotección.
En este sentido, expresó: “Hoy nos encontramos aquí con un propósito claro y valioso: unir esfuerzos y conocimientos para abordar los desafíos que enfrentan las personas mayores en nuestra comunidad. Los escribanos, como garantes de la seguridad jurídica, podemos dar un aporte crucial a la vida de las personas mayores al brindar las herramientas necesarias para atender sus necesidades y ayudarlos ante la toma de decisiones importantes en esta etapa de la vida”.
A continuación, se realizaron los paneles previstos en el programa, a cargo de reconocidos profesionales en cada una de las temáticas que se abordaron.
En este sentido, el primero de ellos se refirió a “Una mirada interdisciplinaria sobre la vejez. Los cuidados necesarios. El consentimiento médico informado” y “Derechos y autonomía personal en la vejez. Convención Interamericana sobre la protección de los Derechos Humanos de las Personas Mayores”, a cargo de Clara Perret, médica geriatra; y de María Isolina Dabove, investigadora especializada en Derecho de la Vejez, respectivamente.
Luego, el evento continuó con la realización del segundo panel, sobre “Capacidad jurídica. Alternativas en sistemas voluntarios, judiciales y legales de promoción y protección de la persona adulta mayor”, a cargo de Úrsula Basset, doctora en ciencias jurídicas; “Las personas adultas mayores con capacidad restringida o incapacidad. Una mirada desde el sistema de curadurías de la provincia de Buenos Aires”, liderado por Ana Carolina Santi, Curadora General del MPBA; y “El acceso a la justicia de las personas adultas mayores”, a cargo de Lucas Bellotti, docente e investigador.
Cerrando la actividad, el notario bonaerense Javier Hernan Moreyra disertó sobre “Herramientas notariales en protección de la autonomía de las personas mayores. Contratos en que intervienen personas adultas mayores. El rol de asesoramiento del escribano. Buenas prácticas”, mientras que la última de las exposiciones la realizó María Cristina Mourelle de Tamborenea, doctora en Derecho Notarial sobre “La planificación sucesoria patrimonial y no patrimonial”.
